This project was developed in-house. The plant, with a capacity of over 100,000 tons per annum, has the following components:

• Power Plant: 20 Megawatt capacity with fuel Storage tanks and Cooling Tower
• Melting Unit: Designed for two induction furnaces with EOT cranes and a CCM unit to produce billets
• Rolling Mill: With reheating furnace and rolling facilities
• Staff Accommodation: To house 350 workers, along with dining, recreation and toilet
• Offices and Storage Units

The fabrication of sheds for the Power Plant, Melting Unit and Rolling Mill was undertaken by our own team of fabricators to ensure that international standards were maintained.

The process of transporting and assembling the Power Plant was a major undertaking. All work regarding installation, testing and commissioning was carried out by our trained engineers.

All machinery for the Melting Unit and Rolling Mill was installed by our engineers and commissioned by the manufacturer’s consultants.

The project was successfully completed and the unit has been in production since March 2010.
