IPBD was the first British-Iraqi company to enter Iraq in March 2003, supporting the reconstruction effort and providing much-needed expertise in the fields of manpower, civil construction and other support services.

The company immediately placed senior management in Baghdad, originally working out of offices in the Republican Palace and the Meridian Palestine Hotel, and has maintained a permanent presence in the country ever since.

IPBD has ongoing operations in the Baghdad, Erbil and Basra areas and the company is deeply committed to long-term commerce in Iraq, with investments in support services, manufacturing, property and office infrastructure.
